EV Party & Performance
Our forefathers protested the unjust at the Boston Tea Party in 1773. More than 250 years later, we share that spirit with the Rivian “Austin EV Party,” where we protest the negative effects excessive oil reliance has caused on our planet and our society
The event will take place at the Rivian showroom on South Congress in Austin, Texas, where guests will roam the showroom, outdoor patios, and rooftop with themed activities and refreshments. The roof of the showroom will be fitted with the exterior of a clipper ship, and prop barrels of oil will be thrown over the side to immortalize our commitment to ditching oil.
Lightshow Stunts
We will project animation of oil being poured down corporate headquarters of oil companies and other prominent downtown buildings, replaced by a lightning strike encouraging viewers to join the Rivian EV revolution.
